For the record, his daughter was not named Wendy...that was a nickname given to her by her cousins. I was in a Wendy's in Billings Montana a few years ago, and the counter-girl I dealt with was named Wendy. So of course, I couldn't resist.....I asked her "Are you THE Wendy?" She said "No-o-o..." and laughed. I said, "How often do you get that question?" She said "About every half hour." Great that she had a sense of humor about it. Personally, I have probably spent thousands in Wendy's, and worked at one waay back in 1976... back when the singles were $.69. McDonalds cant compare to Wendys. Burger King comes close. Krystal rates below BK, but is considered when there is a choice. McD's burgers are dry and not tasty anymore. Remember when the meat was as big as the bun? I've been to Wendys several times since Dave's death. I hear that they grind up everything... bone, hoof, genitals, everything and it all goes into White Castle and Carls Jr (yuck) burgers. This way it is cost effective. And yes, I have heard this from several sources. All the parts you mention above are kept in the Great State of Colorado and served only to Natives of Denver, Colorado. He will protect you. You may want to take up permenent residency in Texas. Think about it and do not give me an answer now. It is better for you. You may want to notify your loved one to get out of Colorado while they are able. Some nimrod wrote a letter to the editor of the local newspaper complaining about an article they ran about Dave's death. The letter writer was p.o.'d that the article didn't emphasize that Dave "probably" died from eating Wendy's food all those years (his assumption). Thomas had a quad bypass a few years ago, and died of cancer. If the letter writer had any impartiality, he would have noted that heart disease can be hereditary. Anyone remember David Letterman's quad bypass a few years ago? He was perfectly fit. But I think his father had the same problem, might have died of it. Heart disease is not necessarily directly related to eating fast food. Besides which nobody is advocating eating a diet of nothing but Wendy's Triple Cheeseburger Combos, Biggie-Sized.
