What really perplexes me is that a person of the caliber of Mr. Lucas does not know how a projector works?

Off the main topic a little...

Over a period of more than a decade, I have been honored to have made the aquaintence of several well known artisians (unrelated to film exhibition or direct film making) who have all had business dealings with Mr. Lucas. Unfortunately I cannot give specific names.

In any case, the common denominator has been that no one has ever said anything nice about Mr. Lucas...these people, who are all internationally respected within their own professional areas do not have anything to do with one-another...yet they have all almost quoted each other with their descriptions of Mr. Lucas. They have all said that the man is a tyrant who abuses his employees...

I should point out that I have never personally met Mr. Lucas...but these words come from some very crediable sources!

I think that George has made the transition to the DARK SIDE and soon his voice is going to deepen to a Growl as he barks out to all around "This is Your Destiny .....imbrace the Digital side of the Force....."

"You just have to put aside your greed for the sake of the audience."

Please!!! Want to talk about greed? Lets talk about the booking terms for EPII.
Lets also see how smart the exhibitors are who signed on for DLP projection when they have their big houses tied up eight weeks into the run and no fannies in the seats.
