We have all the Toranni Syrups so you can have any flavor Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite or Diet Sprite your little black heart desires.

Vanilla Coke ...eh, it didn't really do it for me. Reminded me of what it might taste like to mix cola and cream soda, and cream soda isn't particularly my favorite beverage.

mmm... not only do I 'remember' Royal Crown cola, I happen to really like the stuff! I've never tried the RC Cherry cola version, figured it would be similar to other cherry colas, and too sticky sweet. However, the RC Edge is pretty good - and who else puts ginseng in soda?

Vanilla DIET Coke is now coming out.

A press release was bragging that Vanilla Coke has been a big seller, but hasn't mentioned that it has been HIGHLY discounted, at least in my area.

If the new flavor doesn't sell itself, of course places will reduce the price on it to move it!

Having recently tried Pepsi Blue - ummm ... fizzy berry blue kool-aid? (except that the actual kool-aid tastes much better!)

Hi all

Vanilla Coke has hit Australia. I purchased a bottle to see what it tasted like tonight.

My review is below

VANILLA COKE

Attendance: My car at my local Quix 8.00 P.M. Sat Nov 2 2002

This stuff is yummy. I really like the Vanilla flavouring which is strong and has quite a natural feel to it as opposed to a lot of artificial flavours. It also seems to have a creaminess which slides down the tongue quite pleasantly. Oscar material IMHO

Coca-Cola Co., the world's largest soft drink maker, said on Friday it would phase out its Vanilla Coke, Vanilla Diet Coke and Diet Coke With Lemon beverages in the United States by end of 2005.

Coca-Cola added that it plans to introduce Diet Black Cherry Vanilla Coke and Black Cherry Vanilla Coke in the United States in January 2006.

Sorry, nothing about Diet Mello Yello.

Since everyone is on the topic of soda-pop, I might as well chime in and bring up the ole Cleveland, Ohio vs NYC rivalry of what a real phosphate soda is, as compared to the "egg cream" [puke]

!

Corkey and Lenny's Deli in Cleveland had the BEST phosphates, and of course you MUST make them with Schubert's syrup!

And for those FT members from Cleaveland, I heard that Corkey and Lenny's is no more? Is this true?

I hate the stupid lazy practice of "brand extending." It's cheaper, and of course easier to market than a whole new name, but it dilutes the variety in the selections.

The most amazing part is that people automatically assume a new kind of pop is good because it has the word "Coke" or "Pepsi" in the name. The same thing is happening in the candy industry...how many kinds of "Snickers" are there now?

Diet Black Cherry Vanilla Coke

I'm sorry, but that's WAY too many words for one soda name. It shouldn't take you longer to say the name of a beverage than to consume it in its entirety.
