I'm in Southern NM (Las Cruces) and yesterday and today the skies have been brown and hazy from the smoke. We are several hundred miles away from the nearest fire.... The fire is over 370,000 acres after the two merged. I was evacuated at 10 pm Saturday night, had to drive down to Tempe, got in at about 4:30 am. What a terrible drive, almost fell asleep multiple times. Anyway, that's really all I can say for now, sorry it took so long to respond, it's quite the interesting situation.
