Many of the theatres that go this route end up with a noise bleed problem, you can hear the other theaters sound in the auditorium, which is annoying. A beginner might be able to get something on screen, but if you have the help of someone with experience your show can be perfect, which keeps the customers coming in. Also, if this might help you.. I priced out a new 35mm booth with all equipment and sound, it ran about $60,000/screen to have the best stuff.
