Indeed, that machine had a 500MB drive. I let the truck sit on top of it all day, (The truck weighs almost 6.500 lbs and has a Diesel engine) and at the end of the day the computer bulged just a little. I tossed the computer in the dumpster, and later I fished it out to see if the NIC card was any good (it didn't exist since it was part of the main board) so I decided to pull the CDROM and hard drive along with the RAM. I have MAC Ram, Hard Drives, and CDROM Drives for MAC coming out of the Gazoo...anyone want any?

Even though my truck sat on it all day, the CDROM drive, Hard Drive, and RAM was still in perfect condition. The only damage was to the plastic cover and the face plate and one of its feet was broken. The general condition looked like it would still have been able to "compute" if powered up.

Maybe next time I'll try a steam roller.

Anyway, I tossed everything in the "Free Pile" with the exception of three monitors, three computers, and three of the Lazer Printers. I will look at the possibilities of obtaining conversion drivers to make those printers run with a PC. One of those printers looks like it could handle a ream of paper in the loading dock. It was heavy enough where I almost needed 275 lb football player to carry it for me.

Sorry, couldn't resist. However, for the one or two MAC lovers that still exist, I have to admit that since OS 8.1 or so, the acronym is no longer as accurate as it used to be...

I've had it with Windows' bullshit. Microsoft refuses to fix the fundamental problem that makes Windows the most laughable security nightmare in computer history. And that's the Siamese twinning of MS Office, Outlook Express and Internet Explorer components into the core of the OS kernal. DUMBASSES! I'm the customer. I am right. They should have fixed the problem. So I'm going to take my business elsewhere --to a place where 99.99% of computer viruses won't do shit on my new machine.

Bobby, maybe Apple can get you to star in one of their "Switch" TV commercials. You can be standing there telling the camera how you couldn't figure out how to insert a CD into the CD ROM drive. Then you can say you switched to Mac because it has an eject button on the keyboard!

By the way... I hate the eject button on the keyboard... I plan on taking the mirrored silver panel off of my Mac so I can open the drive before the OS boots up.
