Thompson The Weenie Man Posts: 4718 From: Mount Vernon WA USA Registered: Nov 2000 posted 10-26-2002 08:05 PM                     Steve, if you are getting those voltages from your power supply, I don't think there is anything wrong with it. Another thing to look at (if it has not been mentioned) is the CPU cooling. Some of the coolers used on them were under-rated. If the computer normally runs fine for the first 10 minutes or so, (maybe 5) I would suspect the CPU chip is over-heating. Seen this many times....when it happens, the computer will do weird stuff for no apparent reason whatsoever. Some of its brains seem to fall along the wayside and the computer gets so damn confused it doesn't know what to do. Well, I haven`t been there in a long time, and I haven`t been to the toys department in a much longer time. I dimly remember they had big Märklin installations but I am not a mini railroad fan.
