Smoking? Did I hear someone say SMOKING? I have smoked for many years, but started in a strange way. My friends and I would frequent a pool hall in Aurora, CO. Once we got there, I would win every game... until all the smoke in the air would make me woozie and dizzy. Since I really enjoy pool/billiards (and still do), I thought I was smart in trying to compensate by starting smoke. I only did it when I played pool, then it eventually became a social thing. Most of my friends smoked, and then it became an every day thing. I still smoke, but I don't try to encourage anyone to. I used to be very anti-smoking, but it is really up to the person because it is their choice. WHAT AM I RAMBLING ABOUT?!?!? Okay, onto the subject of smoking in the ratings. RETARDED!!! Before, using any type of swear word would make a movie require an R rating. Now you can hear those words on PG rated films. People try so hard to protect our children, but once those children grow up they will experience lots of things without any knowledge of consequences. My family would never curse around me, but once I heard of such words I was very curious. Same goes with sex, drugs and alcohol. The only drugs I try to maintain is nicotine, caffeine (at high volumes ) and alcohol. But I wouldn't really know much about those things until I left the protective shield of my parents. Sure, my dad smoked and drank but I was told that it was bad for me. Here I am at the age of 30 and I still don't tell my parents that I smoke and drink. But I am sure they already know. RAMBLE... RAMBLE... I hate when I do that.
