, I shoot all of my photographs using the built in meter in the camera. Because my vision is not what it used to be, I also shoot in the Auto focus setting. Using the automatic features in a camera is not as easy as it sounds however. There will be times when you will need to use the exposure compensation setting in the camera because of a tricky lighting situation. I shot the portrait of Maile at the '0' setting but if she was wearing a white garment I would have to increase the exposure to +07 on the exposure compension setting because the meter will take into account the white dress and stop down almost 3/4 stop and give me a underexposed image if I did not make any manual corrections.| All times are Central (GMT -6:00) |
