Meow!

quote:
Man. They'll probably play the meow mix thing like this if I wind up in hell.
My idea of hell would be some sadist putting the Meowmix jingle on their mobile 'phone as its ring tone, and then getting on a very crowded train and sitting next to me... [evil]

Rick, I remembered to not wear green today. I wore green yesterday, I may tomorrow, but today I wore Orange, like a good protestant scots-american.

If I can get everyone to wear blue and white on St. Andrew's Day, I might reconsider next year.

You should try being there!

More than once I've ended up on the emerald isle on this date, it's quite an experience, went out in Galway accompanied by a sparky named 'Pat', well you can imagine the rest....... [beer]

If I went to one of their shows, I'd get my ass kicked. Good luck!

The St. Patrick's Day Parade in New York is absolutely wonderful. The Bars are packed and the sidewalks are getting crowded.

Did you know that there are more Irish in New York than in Ireland.

Please Join me in singing

"Galway Bay"

by Arthur Colahan

If you ever go across the sea to Ireland,
Then maybe at the closin' of your day
You will sit and watch the moon rise over Claddagh
And see the sun go down on Galway Bay.
[And if there's to be a life in the hereafter --
And somehow I'm sure there's going to be --
I will ask my God to let me make my heaven
In that dear land across the Irish sea.

Just to hear again the ripple of the trout stream
And the women in the meadows making hay,
To sit beside the turf fire in the cabin
And watch the barefoot gossoons at their play.

For the breezes blowin' across the sea from Ireland
Are perfumed by the heather as they blow.
And the women in the upland diggin' praties
Speak a language that the strangers do not know.

For the strangers came and tried to teach us their way.
They scorned us just for bein' what we are.
But they might as well go chasin' after moon beams
Or light a penny candle from a star.

And if there's to be a life in the hereafter --
And somehow I'm sure there's going to be --
I will ask my God to let me make my heaven,
In that dear land across the Irish sea.] [beer]
