Shades here. Also looks like the pics were taken moments apart -Both TOTALLY ugly.(erm, worse you dont need see the pics on my staff card, Visa or Licience, so I take that back!)

OR my FilmTech Pic for that matter, WHY do you think I have the shades on in that pic!! [Smile]

Paul,
Was it you who visited me at the Orpheum on Sat Aug 28 ?
All this discussion about your FT picture has me thinking.

I got a call on two-way that there was a 'tech' (I always put TECH in quotes) from New Zealand who would like a look around.

You or this 'person' said they had seen the cinema on the internet and that it would be cool to visit, since it was arthouse, voted best cinema in Australia 2004 and had 70mm.

If it was YOU, you KNOW there was a stuff-up as the main curtain in C#5 motor broke the night before.

I said, pretend the main curtain is going UP now during the overture, now the picture will hit and the silks will rise. Well they did'nt OPEN did they.
We (You and I) cycled the c/b a few times and pressing OPEN, and finally they opened (I had visions of hand cranking behind the screen -and you would have been helping!)

The circuit breaker got replaced a few hours later, that fixed the silks, but I have not been back on shift there to know what was wrong with main curtain.

It was very unprofessional and embrassing.
If it was not you, disregard this post, and everyone else should too.

Ummmm...Tony, don't get too excited. I was actually talking about *ALL* those pics including Josh's and especially Joe's. [Razz] [Big Grin]

Richard, I agree! Clint needs granny glasses... probably tri-focals! [beer]

Any member photo that doesn't show the eyes is just lame. As the photo on the left demonstrates... [Roll Eyes]

No, but Phil *does* often go around half-cocked. [Razz]

Due to Phil's advanced age, he needs to be half cocked to get it started......

I'm not gonna touch that....no wait, that didn't come out right....forget it. [Smile]

Seems the majority likes the shades. [Cool]

Yeah, both pics were taken the same day at the same event.

I wonder what the grand pooh-bah [Smile] has to say about which pic? Sir Brad, Uncle Tony awaits your official opinion!

I don't know why you care what my opinion is, but I would say you shouldn't be hiding behind your glasses, but the current pic is ok anyway.

By the way, there's a rat on your face. [Razz]

Phil? Oh, you mean *Coot! He may be half-cocked and half-baked, but he's all lame. [evil] Gotta goad him into a retaliatory strike here somehow.

Should have a more recent picture of myself shortly, depending on how an upcoming job interview goes on Tuesday.

* Rapidly approaching onset of Cootdom myself... [beer]
