Longest time at one theater? About two years, more or less. Five years later did another nine months at the same theater.

Most of the theatres in this list I have owned, so I didn't work in all of them on a day to day basis, but naturally was at all of them several times a week. At one of the theatres, the one I still have, I was the house manager myself and was there 3 or 4 days a week when I had those other theatres. During the past 15 to 20 years while I only had a couple of other theatres I would be here 5 or 6 days a week. For the past 7 years that I have had only this one theatre I am here 7 days a week. I have kept my office here in this theatre and have personally managed it for the past 33 years.

The list:
11 single indoors
6 single drive-ins
3 twin indoors
Total screen count = 23, but the actual total of different theatre locations = 20

Looking for a single now, in preview I reckon.

See ya, [thumbsup]

I forgot to add a town on my list: Naples, Florida

I did a stint at the Cobb Pavilion 10 in Naples, Florida.

While there, I helped open the Cobb Hollywood 20 also located in Naples, Florida.

8 screen - 1 year
8 screen - 7 months
6 screen - going on 2 months

TOTAL 40 screens ( [Eek!] as many as JOE REDIFER!) 3 years, 9 months experience.

P.S. That last 18 screen that Ken is going to is the same one I helped open! Ahh, the smell of the new carpet, all those new machines, shiny new concession stand... I heard it smells like piss in there now... [Frown]

[Frown]

I'd like to work at a theater.
(actually I'd like to live at a theater, but... one step at a time)

I actually would consider working as a projectionist for free just for the experience.
