I get the joke though As for Timmy Ho's, my family must be the only people in this country that isnt addicted to that coffee.......they must be putting something in there for people to consume so much of it. (The field is 110 yards by 65, 20 yard end zones with the posts on the goal line, and 12 players per side). Our textbooks in public school were still imperial despite the country being metric, so I much prefer imperial. Hee-hee-hee! Great responses, thanks. I'm glad no one (except Michael Shaffer) took me seriously on the "us vs them" lines. (In reality, it took me all of 60 seconds to get used to looking at the km/h side of my speedometer. I actually thought it was pretty cool.) Okay, that settles it. I will be sure to stop at Tim Horton's next time. Kelvin, Baird and Bottomley, I think that's what they were called, were part of, or had some connection with, Smiths Industries, and they made the Peerless Magnarc, under licence, in Glasgow. Most of the Peerless arcs in this country were made there. My car, when I had one, was in miles only; it was a 1967 model.
