In the morning and during the day I'm a coffee person. But after say about 7 PM I drink tea, otherwise I'd be up for 3 days. Tea's caffeine doesn't wire me like coffee does.
We have most any kind of tea you can name at home. My wife loves her tea and she is easy to buy for, just a gift set of assorted teas. I can go from fancy loose tea down to the 100-for-a-dollar cheap tea bags (Tetley makes the store brands here in the East BTW).
Soda is a rarity at home. We drink powdered iced tea mix all year long. Fast and tasty, make it in a 2-gallon jug. Want something tasty? Add bourbon to the onstant iced tea and it makes a great hot toddy, or great cold too. Somehow the combination of flavors gives it an apple taste. Don't know why, it just does.
I am a fan of sun tea. Always an old gallon pickle jar brewing in the sun. Add fresh mint leaves to the mix and it is great!
I can take hot tea most any way. Plain (no sugar or anything), or with honey, or maple syrup, or sugar, or lemon, or evaporated milk.
