The folding is a great idea! My orignal GBA screen was scratched so bad from carrying it around in my pocket. Backlighting, it's about time. They each have their own GameBoy. The 22 year old has one of the 'old school' ones, where each of the little ones has a GameBoy Advance. I must say that I'm starting to feel a little jealous, I'm the only 'kid' in the family without one! OK, so I play with them when they're not looking / at school / etc. And hands down, Tetris has to be my favorite. I do love Dr. Mario on the NES, but none of my siblings have it for the GameBoy. Games they do have that I like to play (other than Tetris) would be Yoshi's Cookie (puzzle game), Ducktales (adventure), and whatever they called the Mario adventure game for the original GameBoy. I´m not nearly my real age, and I probably never will be, if I ever was. At 26 I´m 14½, and I don´t seem to be getting older. I too love videogames. Me and some friends started buying cheap broken playstation 2 on the internet, fixed them up (usually not at all hard) and sold them to friends, so now everybody plays PS2, and I love it. Great games, great graphics and fun for ever. Granted it´s not easy to travel with, but when I travel I too break out my old original Gameboy and play Bugs Bunnies castle. Or I play solitaire on my cell phone, but I share Bobbys sentiment on the possible developments, and totaly support making it illegal to not use hands free in the car. Then again I hear of people having PS2 in their cars, but maybe not for the driver... I don´t have that problem as of yet, missing drivers license and all, but I´m still okay for another year or so... PS I´ve been having trouble previewing posts, is that some setting with me, or is anybody else having the same problem (or nobody uses the feature). I recently purchased a 2002 Impala. One of the cool features that comes with the OnStar system is a cell phone setup that works through your car stereo system. Richard, you don't know much about the GameBoy. I will inform and educate: The GameBoy Advance and the GameBoy Advance SP are the same game system! The SP is only a flip top model of the Advance and is a bit smaller. THAT'S IT! They both play the same exact library of games. The SP has no technical advantages over the Gameboy Advance other than the "backlight". It does have some disadvantages though... like no headphone jack and no removable batteries that you can recharge will using other batteries. Both the Advance and the Advance SP will play ALL GameBoy games, whether they are GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, or original GameBoy (B&W). Anyway back to the original topic. I have a GameBoy Advance, but rarely play it. I prefer the full-fledged consoles. The only time I play GameBoy Advance is when a new CastleVania games comes out. That's it. I also have Gamecube, Xbox (which has full HDTV support by the way), PlayStation 2 (graphically inferior to the aforementioned other two systems, as well as tons slower in function and loading), Sega Dreamcast, and a crapload of older systems. I don't use the PC or Mac to play games. Screw that. Videogames are fun, and they make more profit than the movie industry. It is a multi-billion dollar a year industry and is growing rapidly. The age of your average gameplayer is something like 19-28 years old. Not a kiddie hobby by any means. I had a Gameboy Advance but didn't play it because I had so much trouble seeing the thing. The backlight on the new version is great, so I'll be selling my old one probably. It's "front-lit"... similar to the way you throw light onto a painting, I guess.
