Personally, I found the whole thing rather tiresome.

Nobody seemed to notice that I was even there.

"My plans to attend were sidetracked by my ex wife and her current husband punching each other in the face a few times and my getting temporary custardy of my daughter."

Dave,
Family squabbles are an even better reason to get out of town and head to Vegas..... You could ahve taken her on the Roller Coaster and there was plenty of Coke at the Film-Tech drink night that she would have had access to. There were actually quite a few kids attending Showorst this year with their parents! More than I've seen in past years. Vegas in itself is also becomming more of a family visitable place.

It was a nice group but no one looks like their picture....except Josh since there are 300 photos on the net to compare...John Ptlak really does have cap code marks on his forehead [Wink] ( mark of the film "beast" ? ). Ray Derrick has lost his mustache flying in from Australia. Dan Lyon is smaller than his photo but anyone who likes ( or endures ) a Pro-35 is big in my book. Aaron was a very capable bartender and Mark a capable bar patron. Jim from the Nugget Cinema was great to talk to directly since we have had done some business in the past. Adam, Mike, Scott D. Neff, The group from Jack Roe, and countless others....nice group [Smile] The cheese display ( Mount Guttag ) was impressive [Cool] No Phil or Manny but there where rumours that they found a pirate's hat and some left over pasta in one of the bathrooms; some stolen bed sheets and reports came in about their performances at the Ceasar's shopping Mall and the Apollo that evening......I had a good time, where else can you drop a drink on the floor when you knew you are past your limit [beer]

Richard ... we've all been taking Manny's class on how to look like completely different people every time we have our pictures taken.

I haven't seen a single picture of Manny that looks like he does in real life.

Adam's current picture isn't bad.

Brad's current picture scares me.

So where are the showest pics?

Richard, You forgot to mention about Ian licking Brads wide angle attachment.... [Razz] Certainly this feat deserves a new Ian Graemlin!!

Ian was brushing Brad's attachment with his goatee.... he did not want to get cheese vapors on the glass [Wink] Adams new 3/4 profile looks like part of a layout in Details magazine [Smile] Brad's new picture conveys the serious nature of Film-Guarding the world during these critical times [thumbsup]

Maybe next year I will drag her along. I never even thought about that idea! Then again, the brain damage. [Mad]

It was good to see everyone again as well as the new faces.

Possibly more important than everything else at the show, all of the Scott video footage turned out fine and dandy. Coffee anyone? [Big Grin]

Thanks for the reminder, Adam. Tuition fees are now past due. [Wink]

Those sheets were not stolen; it became necessary to burn them! [Eek!]

I had an incredible amount of fun hanging out with everyone at ShoWest this year, and I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing all of you again next year.

Richard, in regards to not looking like your picture, you're easily as guilty as anyone else. [Big Grin]
