Inappropriate behavior on account of she being his teacher. Were that not the case then I don't see any harm being done. Even as it is since it doesn't seem likely any coercion was involved the harm wasn't to the boy at all but rather to the educational system...respect for teachers and so forth and the punishment should be in accordance with that which is to say far less than that meted out to a real molester.

When the law comes down heavily on something stupid like this case it does a disservice those who suffer real harm from real abusers. The child victimized by a trusted teacher or cleric...the little girl who cowers in bed at night dreading the sound of footsteps that will mean her stepfather is going to pay her a "visit" and then tells her afterwards that it's all her fault and she'll be locked up if she tells. Those are the real victims and some of them never recover no matter how much therapy. That's where our concern as a society should be not on horny young schoolteachers with a danger fetish.
