I have a special Polish whiskey mix my Polish family makes and now that's the good stuff. It's mixed with a cherry syrup imported from Poland and the best stuff you'll ever drink. Depending on who you are, you will either pass out, chase it with lots of some drink, get very hung over, or be fine (like me!). By the way, the drink is 192 proof. AJG  |  IP: Logged Paul G. It is, in fact, grain alcohol. I don't have a bottle here and don't know how to even write the title on it. I can say it but that serves no purpose here of course. I'll have to ask my dzia dzia (Polish for grandpa)if they drank this back in Poland too, as the family came here in the 1960s. On that side of the family, I'm the first generation born here in the States. I just wish I spoke Polish like the rest of them. AJG  |  IP: Logged Robert L. I've been pretty drunk a few times, but never to the point where I couldn't walk. I usually don't seem drunk at all when I am, but it's often evidenced by the fact that I want to go out and explore. One time, I was at a hotel party and there was a waterpark next door. It was in the middle of the winter, so it was closed for the season. Well, I decide to walk over to it and look at it because I had never been to it. To my amazement, the place is practically wide open with no security or cameras of any kind to be found. I walked inside and saw a gumball machine and thought it'd be funny to bring it back to the hotel room. I carry it about a half of a mile back to the hotel room and throw it in one of the beds with a passed-out friend and told him I had found him a woman. My conscience kicked in though and I actually carried it all the way back to the waterpark and put it back where I found it. I drank cheap vodka and Jack Daniels that night. I wasn't very drunk at all though -- just buzzed enough to find an 'adventure' exciting. When I saw that they had stuff just laying out in the open, I HAD to bring back a souvenir so my less adventurous friends knew where I had been.  |  IP: Logged
