Mike - The Atari 400 came with the standard "membrane" keyboard or could be upgraded to a normal one if you wanted.

The 800 had two cartridge slots, expandable memory, and a normal keyboard. I liked the Atari's "Daisy Chain" peripheral attatchments. You plug whatever (disk, tape, printer, etc) into the ONE port, and then that peripheral would have a port on it to connect the next. Teh Awesum.

I have 2 400's. I want to buy an empty coin-op cabinet and build an "Atari Arcade" in it.
