But we all knew that already, didn't we? Congrats, Brad!! So what new "power" does a registered patent give you that "patent pending" didn't? I assume it's power of litigation against people like "that other company" who sells "that other substance" hehe. I agree, if Brad doesn't get a technical achievement award for this, that means the Academy doesn't care about film presentation quality.
