quote: If Kodak's ESTAR base film can hold a Crown Victoria to a hydro pole, it can surely be used to hang someone!
The tensile strength of Kodak ESTAR polyester film base is about 25,000 pounds per square inch. The toughness is about 20,000 inch-pounds per cubic inch, almost five times greater than triacetate base.
In great movies, the souls of many have indeed been captured for the ages: Garbo, Bogart, Hepburn, Tracy, Chaplin, Gable, Garland, etc. live on in films.
