I want to say Titanic, but as much as I loved that film, it just doesn't work on the television screen. But I got to see it on the "Super Screen" at Jordan Commons (Sandy, UT) again last year. Yeah. Chills.

What's Up Doc (my favorite movie for years...until "Titanic")
American Beauty (replaced "Titanic" as my all-time favorite)
Napoleon Dynamite (replaced "American Beauty" as my all-time favorite)
The Royal Tenenbaums
Targets
Texasville
Evolution (probably the dumbest movie I watch, but I just love it.)
Pleasantville
The Stepford Wives (the original)
Naked Gun - From the files of "Police Squad" (only the first one)
Monsters, Inc
All three Harry Potter films
Wonder Boys
Men in Black

"Grease" might have made the list, but I had far too many girlfriends over the years who just HAD to watch that thing EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK and sometimes follow it up with GREASE 2. OH THE HORROR!

Amazingly, my wife has seen Grease ONCE, and it was when I took her to it during its re-release a few years back. She has to be the only woman on the continent who has never seen that movie on television.

I'm glad someone else besides me mentioned "The Taking of Pelham One Two Three." That movie kicks ass in the thrills dept, has a completely plausible story (unlike most of today's thrillers), and has one of the coolest endings of any "cop movie" ever.

They played "Pelham One Two Three" here alittle over a year ago at the Film Forum Theatre in 35mm. It was cool to see it on screen again. [thumbsup]

Oh PUHLEEZE Brandon! You gotta be kidding! That was one of the best ones!

A couple of my favorite things:

The guy that plays Papagiorgio

And the sequence at Hoover Dam...

I have a teaser trailer around here somewhere for Spaceballs. It features the word SPACE just crawling onto the screen slowly and filling the whole screen. Then a door opens at the bottom of the "P" and Mel Brooks walks out and looks up at the letters and says:

"Space? Just 'Space?' WHERE ARE THE BALLS?!"

Then the rest of the title appears and squeezes onto the screen.

What's funny is that the sound is overdubbed; you can read Mel's lips and he actually says "Where are MY balls!?"
