I believe that this isn't about resale value and it's more about getting the most bang for your buck. New cars have the problem of needing to be broken in, even with the warranty. Plus, you are paying for someone's brand name for the car, not the car. When I purchase a car or truck, I purchase the one I want, at the price I want, not the price the dealer has. Also, I purchase cars at the police seized assets auction. Do you have any idea how cheap drug cars are?
