Everything else is just "electrical". Plus the turntable doesnt plug into an outlet, it goes to a receiver that goes to the outlet. So I don't think I was wrong in how I answered really. Look it up. Even the cartridge on the tone arm is an electronic device, as it generates electricity to produce sound. The fact that your turntable's motor gets it's electricity from a receiver rather than directly from a wall outlet does not alter the fact that it is an electronic device. By your argument, a movie projector is not an electric device since the motor is an external object, and your lamp house is not an electric device since it gets it's power from an external rectifier. Give me a break. I think in future question and answer rounds if the question arises we should consider it both ways or combine the two Electrical/Electronic since both involve electricity.
