Has there EVER been a Gilliam film that DIDN'T go over schedule, budget, and have loads of drama surrounding production? His greatest film-that-never-was was that Don Quixote thing, with Johnny Depp, I think. I never saw it, but the documentary film covering the behind-the-scenes of that fiasco is quite a tour-de-force on its own, so I hear.
Ah, yes, Baron Munchausen. I remember that one. Vaguely. I loved Brazil. I think 12 Monkeys is my favorite Gilliam, however. Not sure if that one counts as unsuccessful, though. I mean, Bruce Willis & Brad Pitt's presence kept it in theatres for an adequate run, right? I don't remember.
