Quote Bill Gable:
________________________________________________________________
Since Burgess Meredith "Mickey" his trainer has passed away afew Rockys ago. He should get a real special trainer like Bob Maar.

Twenty-two years ago last August, Burgess cut the ribbon on the opening of the "South Street Experience", he told me that I could never fill his shoes.

He was right, he wore 8's and I wear 10 1/2 D's.

But thanks, for the thought.

I thought Rocky V was supposed to be the "getting back to original Rocky" movie?? I know that movie completely sucked, so mabye this is nothing more than a remake of Rocky V. I'd prefer to see him go after another Rambo movie rather than Rocky. Either way, I hope its good. All of Sly's recent movies have been going straight to video, which is never a good sign. Lets hope Rocky Balboa is a return to grace for Sly.

Mike Blakesley's script treatment is considerably better that most Hollywood sequels. Louis

OH GOD

From nfl.com (believe it or not)

quote:
And how about the news that broke this week that we are all in for a Rocky 6? It is true: Just as he begins pre-production on a Rambo 4 , Stallone got the green light to start the sixth installment of Rocky Balboa's hard-knock life, in which Rocky will indeed get back in the ring. Stallone, of course, will play a restaurant-owning Rocky wracked with grief over the death of Adrian. Apparently, the only way to honor her memory and fight off loneliness is to put on the gloves and fight an up-and-comer named Mason Dixon. I am not making this up. Of course, the only question remaining is who will play Mason Dixon? Who can fill the Sasquatch-like shoes of Carl Weathers, Mr. T, Dolph Lungdren and Tommie Morrison? Internet tongues are wagging that it's none other than light-heavyweight champion Antonio "Magic Man" Tarver. I say they can do better. Why not another great boxer from the 70s? Why not Chuck "The Bayonne Bleeder" Wepner? Or how about Ed "Too Tall" Jones for Mason Dixon!

RAMBO 4 HELL YEAH!

"A new Rocky movie is being made - Rocky VI. During the filming, Sylvester Stallone will turn 60 years old. The movie isn't going to be too exciting. The fight scene in the movie he goes 15 rounds with Regis."
