Yes, folks, laugh. But, I'll bet the sound quality is STILL BETTER than a couple of the sound systems where I work!

Bob,
I know you are right... because I know where you work..... If you at least had one of the THX clock Radios in each auditorium..... well things might just be a bit better and on time.

Hay Joe, why didn't you just use the 3" speaker in the TV for your center channel?
No way man, that is my Sonic Whole Overhead channel and it kicks ass! JBL SPL THX!!!!

You've seen the pictures, e-mailed George Lucas, and heard the testimony of others. It is most definitely good stuff if not the BEST stuff. My private THX Cinema is the best JBL SPL THX 115db WOW room ever! And I know you are jealous. I just watched Lawrence of Arabia and the overhead WOW THX SPL channel was so incredible! Such wonderful dialog and great movie. Watched my SPL DB meter throughout the entire show. Quietest scene was 220dbc!

So Andy', when are you going to have a FT ID pic of you posted? Based on all your previous posts, I have a "minds-eye" pic of you in my brain.

What's really cool about that THX SPL tv is that it has a port for an 8-track cassette tape right in the center!

Joe,

I am so envious. THX SPL WOW JBL DOBLY (better than Dolby!) 220dbC awesomeness with an overhead channel..I just can't imagine the sheer power of that sound.

MY DINNER WITH ANDRE must be absolutely SPECTACULAR on that system. I bet you can hear the dishwasher running in the kitchen.

Did you also install the basement speaker for proper reproduction of subway trains and the movie "TREMORS"? George would be proud!

Now, can it accurately present DAMNATION ALLEY? I would love to relive the glory that was SOUND 360!

I like the fact that boxes are used as a TV stand and speaker stand. To be able to afford such wonderful THX bla bla bla ... and yet forget about the other accessories.

BTW Brad, Joe's new member pic you captured from the collection freaks me out. [uhoh]

I found another forum where Andy was talking gibberish while searching Google for something else. Notice how the one guy tells him to speak English. [Roll Eyes]

Joe it's time for your THX system to get recertified. Would you like to upgrade to the Platinum Certification?

While on the subject of a re-cert... I'd be willing to do it for alot less than the 10 grand THX charges you.... Say about 9 grand or so.... I just hope your HVAC system hasn't deteriorated to a point above the approved NC-95 level....
