Hey Phil, What kind of sausage is that in the pic? Is it available at my local market? Or is it one of those Pinks Hotdogs Sausages...

Well Edwin, definitely not from Pinks. Could be a 7" Kielbasa or perhaps as what I hear in your case, two 3" Cocktail Weenies stacked end-to-end. [Wink] [evil]

Best to ask your local market for availability of wieners. [Razz]

Sorry I missed the drink and all the other fun activities. I'm low on the money this year, and couldn't make it.

As far Mike Heenan's question...

So is this year turning out to be as big a sausage fest as the previous years?

Umm Mike... what do you call this website? Other than Rachel and Jen, I don't see all those other film-handling-girl-geeks posting up a storm.

Since people are already starting to make their plans for March, let's use this thread to discuss Showest 2007 ... who's going, etc. and (eventually) the FT Drink info.

Is it true that in 2007 the Film-Tech Drink will be held in the Xenon Room atop the Luxor?

The drink will be at Bally's in a suite again as usual. The actual suite number, as usual, will not be available until early afternoon. The Jack Roe booth will be the first ones to know once it is finalized, so be sure and check by there Wed afternoon or check the forums (or front page) here.

On the contrary Bob...if you come I will supply you with another one! Perhaps, I'll even add a Cardinal pocket knife to your collection (with a tip the TSA for your return flight, of course) [Wink]

Planning to be there. If Bob will supply me with the list of ingredients needed for the Maartinis I will have them ready here, so as to save on having to fly them in. One of the reasons I live where I do is because there is a very well stocked liquor store just down the street. [Big Grin] [beer]
