The do stink though, and I'm told if you try to wash them, even with the special shampoo, it causes their glands to produce the musk faster, and therefore making them stinkier, quicker. I guess it's something you'd eventually get used to. I also adore skunks, they are quite pretty, and also have wonderful personalities. I am told that they don't have quite the continual musk smell, that ferrets do, though they do have some. I'd like a classic black and white one, but they aren't allowed in georgia because its hard to tell if it's wild or not, if it gets out. I feel sorry for the cat though. If it's done by CGI (e.g. that mobile phone ad with the cat swinging on the roof-mounted fan) then no problem, but when it's a real cat I don't like it. I suppose in a way that's double standards on my part, though, being a cat owner. Cats' instinct is to chase and kill things that move. You throw the ball (object) and the cat's instinct makes it want to chase it and kill it. Once the cat has done so, it wants to chase it some more. Cats are smart enough to know that, if they return the NERF BALL to their human, he/she will throw it again. So, in essence, the cat isn't entertaining you by fetching for you.
