If the power goes out and you don't have one on the filter the fish will die pretty quick. I only have a ten gallon tetra tank right now. I was planning on setting up at least a 150 gallon saltwater tank, maybe up to 250. I was going to do that in the next couple weeks but my old truck is starting to fall apart on me and it looks like I'll have to get a new car soon.
