The X-Men are more 'brokeback' than Superman. [Razz]

(Not by much though)

In the trailer for "Superman Returns," Superman's father, Jor-El, says, "Even though you're being raised as a human being, you are not one of them. They can be a great people, Kal-El. They wish to be. They only lack the light to show the way. For this reason, above all -- their capacity for growth -- I have sent them you: my only son."
Um...that's actually dialogue from Richard Donner's masterpiece...SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE.

And, of course he's gay! (Superman, that is.)

Superman was flying over the city after a eventful day saving people from disaster, rescuing cats out of trees etc, etc. Suddenly he looks down and sees Wonder Woman sun bathing naked on one of the taller buildings. Hmmm, he thinks - I'm Superman, i'm faster than a speeding bullet. I can fly down there, give her one and fly off and she wouldn't know what happened!
So he makes his move and is off again in the blink of an eye.
Wonder Woman opens here eyes and says. . .

'What the F@"K was that....'

'I don't know, but my ass hurts' says the Invisible Man!!!

The first time I heard that joke, it was like a scene out of CLERKS. I was working the register at a comic book store, and my coworker was standing next to me. This Harry Knowles-looking dude comes up to the counter and pays for his new Superman comic. Then, without any prompting whatsoever, he launches into the joke. After he says the punchline, he laughs maniacally, and then runs out of the store. My coworker and I just stood there in silence for a few seconds, then we look at each other, and he says, "Huh." and walks away...

There is a scene in CLERKS II, where this Lord of the Rings fan comes into Mooby's and Randal explains to him that the Hobbits were gay. As they talk about Jedi vs. Rings.

I mean, who exactly wears their underwear on the outside of their pants?
Beat me to it with that one- that's the argument I always give as to why Superman is a flaming homo! ("No! Stop that- you take that back right now!!")

Interesting bit I heard when the '78 movie came out though, is that Clark Kent's regular clothes can be rolled into a ball and kept in a pocket on his cape.

And all this time I thought Superman kept his Clark Kent clothes in his ass.

As I understand it is now from both. Singer lifted Brando's performance for this film and meshed it in rather nicely I hear. Time will tell...

Oh, I LOVE the Ambiguously Gay Duo! That's hilarious. I like how they're always going, "What are you looking at?"

J.J. Sedelmaier, in White Plains, NY made those. They're one of the coolest animation houses going, they do a lot of retro stuff.

Think about it. Superman cannot have a normal human girlfriend for a couple of reasons. First she could easily be used against him by his sworn enemies to get back at him. Second he could accidentally kill her during sex. Imagine Superman getting close to climaxing and just going to town to finish? Then what happens when he does cum? That shit would blow all the way through a womans body and out the top of her head!!! hehe

So the bottom line is, he must date another superhero who can handle that. The problem is that there aren't enough female superheroes to go around for the male superheroes. Maybe there is another gay superhero out there? I think Superman is just lonely and goes home at night and plays with himself.

I would love to get into Superwomans pants, but I am scared something might accidently get pinched off in the heat of the moment!

The film's director, Bryan Singer, who is gay, insisted to Reuters that Superman "is probably the most heterosexual character in any movie I've ever made." Whatever that means.
And that's about the least ambiguous quote I've ever heard.

Have you seen Margot Kidder? Of course Superman is gay.

I find it humerous that the discussion of whether or not he's gay accompanies a movie made by Bryan Singer featuring Kevin Spacey in a big role. I don't know if it would have been brought up had it not been involving two well known homosexuals.
