What is a CDI? Not sure, but apparently it is some kind of codename for training videos. Working With a Zombie - Even the "zombies" seem more enthusiastic than the typical theater floor employee. Safety and Handling Procedures - Ummm, yeah. Goggles. Lisa, who clearly flunked kindergarten, proves why she needs them. Violent Disturbances - I'd be pissed if I were in a theater this tacky and gaudy, too! Horseplay - The assistant manager is such a swell guy. He cares so much about Cinemark. Accidents - Falling down at a Cinemark theater = instant paralysis. Box Office Robbery - Are Randy and Lisa the only employees at this theater? Why don't they know the manager's name? Is the turnover in management really that high? Manager's Office Robbery - I'm amazed they were there to steal money instead of that fabulous projection equipment. You simply can't do any better than Speco platters and what looks like CFS lamphouses. Banking Procedures - What theater does their own bank deposits? That's what armored car companies are for! I sure hope Cinemark reimbursed those two for their mileage. Re-entry After Closing - This theater sure does attract a lot of robbers and other hooligans. They are flinging suds at each other at the sink. There is a water trigger nozzle (for rensing) within a foot of them and yet they insist on flinging suds. With MY crew, the nozzle would be grabbed and the other one gets a blast of water IN THEIR FACE. Then one would get the big white ice shovel and start pounding the other one with it. The ushers would be vandalizing the standees in real life. In the bank deposit one, I loved the code-name for the deposit run: Let's go to Grand-mas' house. So thinking I must've hit the jackpot on that one I clicked on the zombie video. Nope, just as bad. Might as well add a sitcom laugh-track to the things, at all the presumedly sincere parts. At my old theater since there was a deposit box in the mall we were in, they used to just drop the deposits there but if it was mid-day the person doing the drop would usually say to another manager "Lets go for a walk" or something similar. One day, a staff member said "Do the managers like walking around the mall or something?"
