final test and it is not looking good for Australia.

I do hope we win outright.

John

You will have to say the poms out played you in the test. [Big Grin] [beer]

What are these "ashes" to which you refer? No doubt a quaint Motherland tradition? [Razz]

Well let me enplane.

The English (That is us) come to Australia (That is you) To play a small game of cricket.

After several hours of posturing by Australia on how they (that is you) are going to thrash the poms (That is us).

Your team (That is to say Australia) show how not to play Cricket (or indeed how not to pick a team to play cricket)

We (that is to say the greatest cricket team currently in Australia) Come home victors until the next time when you (that is to say an Australian team that can play cricket) come to England & the rolls are reversed.

Funny it has been like that with the odd exception for the last few years. [Big Grin]

Quite. [Razz]

Well, there's really nothing to be said.

A few Aussies from this team will not be seen again and that's not a bad thing. We don't play another test until Sri Lanka in October or something silly like that. The need for new blood is evident in the Aussie camp...from administrators down, but the efficiency of the English team should not be under-stated. I don't know what the hell happened to the English in Perth, but for mine you guys were the best in every way this time round.

Aussie cricket's not been at such a low since the mid-eighties. Hopefully, we won't stay here as long as England did. [Wink]

The Final Test
P'tang, Yang, Kipperbang
Playing Away
Wondrous Oblivion
Hit for Six +
Lots of Bollywood films

The last baseball film I can remember was Fever Pitch

That was a ripoff of a British soccer film.
