You can't go down 4th Avenue (our main drag) more than 6 blocks with passing through one. Traffic Light-- 200 yards from me at the intersection of my street and the main drag thru West Asheville. Traffic backs up regularly. OTOH, A few weeks ago we had some BAD wind storms that caused many power outages, including my neighborhood. All of the traffic lights were out along the main drag. Traffic has never flowed more smoothly. Sometimes I wish they were all gone.
