Phil Hill I love my cootie bug Posts: 7595 From: Hollywood, CA USA Registered: Mar 2000 posted 07-04-2007 05:50 PM                  Shooting the film/video may be more fun, but *IF* the camera-person is not experienced and knows what and how to shoot, it makes the editors and everyone else's job VERY difficult. When we were shooting film, the raw footage to usable footage was about a 3-4:1 ratio. With the advent of video (TV) productions, it seems the ratio is unlimited. This is most likely due to the wannabe "professionals" that have NO talent or conception of film-making. There are tons of "wannabe" camera-persons out there now that have NO clue or talent. They just turn out sh!t! Ya know...the "point and shoot" group that think their shit doesn't stink... HOT TIP! It DOES! HA! The camera-person is the least important major job of any shoot. The director is the most important position on any production. He/she must have the balls/tits to tell the other crew members when to fuckoff and when they are doing a great job. You know, the old saying: Credit where it is do. And if not, a good tongue lashing! He's produced many cheesy films and I respect him as a film-maker. I also like Mr. Pytlak as a consultant. He can whip me inline! Tim, I did disagree with a couple of your choices and assumptions! ... sent you a nasty email as such! They ARE jerks! HA! BTW: PLEASE make a part for "Those Lips" The Jen!
