IN COLOR Twin Peaks MST3K Then Darryl reminded me of Emergency!, Adam 12, and The Six Million Dollar Man. I also consider myself lucky to have lived within range of a CBC signal during most of the 19 seasons of "The Beachcombers",which was campy as hell, but good fun. If CBC ever releases it on DVD, I'm there. Other than that, it's basically Hockey Night in Canada (via NHL Center Ice) and WWE wrestling. Yes, those should be on the list too. And WKRP. That's ten. What do you mean the list didn't need to be ten?!? Watch this - all seven seasons - in order from beginning to end and tell me you weren't blown away and deeply moved! 2) Columbo What strikes me about Columbo (the character) is that he is a philosopher first and foremost and his disarming, laid back approach is a lesson for us all! The show also takes sly jabs at the class system and the 'importance' of materialism in society. The writing and acting is gorgeous and there are only one or two episodes that are suspect (no pun intended!).  |  IP: Logged Brian D.
