Personally I'd skip the Maple Syrup, Mark. Other than that it looks to be an excellent way to enjoy sweet potatoes. [thumbsup] Anyway, Merry Christmas to all on FT. My wish for everyone is a healthy and prosperous 2008!

I will be flying out later today to good ole' Cincinnati, Ohio. I will be visiting with my family (grandparents, father, brother, aunts and uncles). I also will spend a couple of days there, enjoying Skyline Chili,LaRosa's Pizza,White Castle and Frisch's.

OK - well maybe not all of them. But most of them? It's the holidays! Why not enjoy some good food? [Wink]

Merry friggin Christmas!!!! [Razz]

Be careful in your travels Dennis... Watch out for the weather!

Jeff, There is only 1/3 cup of maple syrup to 7 LBS of potatoes and it does indeed make an important addition to the taste... The taste as a whole is what matters... the right combination of chemicals gets you there...

Mark

We celebrated last night on the Eve rather than the day, with our entire Italian clan of twenty-seven, ranging in age from a mere 14 months to our 73 yr old O'pa. Today all had to be off to inlaws and such so as to keep everyone happy.

Today the theatre is dark, so I spent the morning helping out at the local soup kitchen -- I am one super speedy potato peeler and have become quite famous for my Incredible, Edible, Lasagnia. The rest of the day, in about 20 minutes, it will be up to Yonkers to JoAnne's great aunt who is homebound, and then finally this evening will be calling all those good friends in distant places who I miss dearly, which, thanks to Vonage this year, won't require taking out a second mortage for phone company long distance charges!

To all the good people here at F-T, may you all find some calm, quite place where the spirit can be enriched and renewed. And in 2008 may we all have joy.

Yes, Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays to you all.

Time to go see some films, so that those theater staffs that are working today won't be doing so in vain. [Big Grin]
