I agree that while it's not among the "official" Bond films, it's still a James Bond 007 film and deserves to be on the list. This is also what killed his animated James Bond cartoon show project in early 1990's. They may not try to fit the title of this new one into the theme song. Back in 1983, I was eager to learn what the title song to "Octopussy" would be like. Personally I like the song, but was terribly dissapointed that there was no attempt to use the title in the song. I ran that first run in 1985. Roger Moore's last Bond film, thank God. I have a vintage issue of Playboy featuring a pictorial of her. Anyway, the real reason for this post is just to call attention to the 2nd trailer for Quantum of Solace. Pretty good clip. It certainly makes the movie look more promising. I'm not sure what to think of James Bond being seen in so many scenes using a Sig Sauer P226 -his guns are usually a Walther model. Mathieu Amalric seems well cast as a rich guy Bond villain. Another Way to Die, I don't like that tune. 7 Nation Army is the only White Stripes song I liked. This song just doesn't work. The clichéd sounding trumpets and grungy/sloppy guitar work go together about as well as vanilla ice cream topped with wads of hair clippings from the barber shop floor.
