I probably should chime in here. Jerry was primarily a guitar player. He was second only to Chet Atkins during the sixties and seventies as an influence. He crossed all musical boundaries with his revolutionary guitar style. I played a lot of shows over the years where he was on the bill and he was amazing. The last time I saw him was in a local retuarant, and he looked pretty bad. He partied pretty hard in the old days, and I guess that will follow you. I hope he's at peace.
