Is there a website anywhere keeping track of all the mass layoffs that are going on around the country? Seems like every day another company is laying off 1000+ employees.

Sure ain't the same as when I was Chief at WVEZ/Louisville. We played the SRP format of BM (that Beautiful Music. . . . not the other BM.) Real people, real live spots, studio at the transmitter. I can still get a rise from the local high end hi fi people who claim that we were the only reason to own a tuner. (Oh, yes, nobody got rich except the owner.) Louis

I don't know, but there sure are a number of them out there. I remember a particularly bad case on the local head-banger station, WKQQ, when I lived in Lexington, KY. The guy did middays, and sounded like he had a hare lip!

Look at Barbara Walters, she has the double-whammy: an impediment AND an accent. It is beyond me how she even got a SHOT at a network gig... much less become the darling of one! [puke]
