Should be plenty of discounted or comped rooms available here this year. Gaming revenues are way down, consequently everyone is comping and discounting rooms to at least to keep the occupancy rates high. People are still dropping money in the casinos - just not as much. It's a good time to come to 'Vegas - we're rediscovering our roots and getting back to being a good deal compared to other vacation destination cities. Every year it comes around and I don't realize it until it's too late. I have never been, but maybe some day. Besides, I was just in Vegas last October for the welding industry's trade show and have no desire to go back again anytime soon.
