Pregnancy is a sexually transmitted disease. (That's always a winner with your female friends) And another inspiration that get's most of my female friends pissed at me. A baby is technically a parasitic life form. It depends on a host creature, the mother, in order to sustain life. It takes from the host, and supplies nothing (biologically) in return, and thus isn't symbiosis. And often can have negative impact on the host's health.

It gets them so worked up. Women take any poke at babies possibly being anything different than the most beautiful of miracles, even if it is in jest, as a direct insult. Not an insult, just one of those "Why do we park on a driveway and drive on a parkway" deals. No degradation of baby kind intended. I mean, we all were babies at some point in time. (Except Brad and Phil, who were willed into existence.)
