UBB.classic does not operate on a database platform. That's how awesome it is!

But everyone is always like "teh databsez!" at 1500 posts and then threads are closed. Explain, or I will cry.

These counting posts remind of a thread on another forum which was called "Count to 5000". The goal was to reach 5000 posts in a single thread. You could post whatever you wanted (like this thread), but you had to include the number in your posts... the third person would post the number 3, etc etc etc. That thread is still going and I think it is at around 3100 or so.

I couldn't even find that old thread. At any rate, nobody's getting fat except Mama Cass.

It was started on 03-30-2008 and the latest post was made today, #3557. The forum is called Sega-16, not something anyone here would be interested in. Nothing but old fogies there who liked the 16-Bit Sega Genesis from 1989-1996 or so. Everyone here is much too young and spry. [Smile]

I bought Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for PS3 (40 old Genesis games ported for PS3) and, after an hour, wondered why anybody would have liked that damn thing.

What the heck does ECCO the Dolphin even DO? As far as I can tell, all he does is swim around, hits something, and dies.

Never did Sega. Had an Intellivision (with the voice modulator of course ---- "BOMBS AWAAAY!!!") and the Coleco. And of course the 2600 - which I think everyone had.
