Yes, it's a nice cinema - best in Kraków - though I saw many more films at the mall's megaplex.

Kijów Centrum (the site is only in Polish, unfortunately - but 'kino cyfrowe' means 'digital cinema' if that helps)

Well, as far as I know there's not that much for a cinema geek around Lucerne. There's an IMAX cinema at the museum of transport - I guess they look more or less the same everywhere around the world. I haven't been at the museum for quite a long time nevertheless I guess it's still great for any tech geek.

More of an artsy touch has the bourbaki panorama. It's also not directly cinema related...more like pre-cinema era: It's a 360 degree painting of 10m height and 112m circumference which I found quite impressive. (There's also an arthouse cinema in the same building but I've not yet watched a movie in there.)

General cinema info for Switzerland:
- Ticket prices are generally higher than in the US (~ 15 CHF)
- Quite often subtitled versions of movies are shown besides dubbed versions if it's a bigger or an arthouse cinema.

I'm back from my europe trip, and unfortunately I had less spare time than I thought I would. I did get some good snap shots in of a few, but I didn't get much of a chance to go see any films or ask to see any booths. I tried very hard to make it to the Phoenix in London (my hotel was only two metro stops from it), but after all the site seeing I would have only made it for the last show and I had to get up too early the next morning (I was pretty pumped about it too).

I might try to post a few cinema pics up (but I have to be sneaky so that Brad doesn't bust me for putting up vacation pictures).

I would like to note that British Airways has awesome video systems (well, a 7" screen and a stereo headset) and a decent movie library available as your in flight entertainment.

Why not come back again next year; the pound is low at the moment, so it's not quite as expensive as it was a few months ago.
