The funny thing is most radio stations, recording studios, etc. have rack mounted compressor/limiter devices that can automatically adjust audio to play at a certain level. Basically the music industry doesn't need to bake all that clipping crushing shit into the music data itself. Other pieces of hardware can do that during broadcast. Why foul up the "software?"
