The guy on the video said he worked in radio and talked about the difficulties of having one song with a loud level playing up against another with a normal level. The funny thing is most radio stations, recording studios, etc. have rack mounted compressor/limiter devices that can automatically adjust audio to play at a certain level.

Basically the music industry doesn't need to bake all that clipping crushing shit into the music data itself. Other pieces of hardware can do that during broadcast. Why foul up the "software?"

So many people in the music industry need a vicious slap across the face.
