US Registered: Nov 2009 posted 03-11-2010 04:30 PM                     Capt-EO at WDW used fiber-optics in the screen for the star field and lasars, which where both 40 watt. One argon and kryton. Projection was two Pro 70s staight shaft 30fms with strong lamphouse and 7kw lamps. We used a Disney designrd NPL controller to sync the proj. with the show by smpte time code from central base. Film was a continue loop in a two cabinets driven by the proj DC motor. Every morning during startup we had to do a lasar beam termanation test and run test show sow there is a lot of part to the film that are not consistent. Girl dancers with brars on then not on, black dancer then they are white, weapons on the floor then not then back. I worked on installing and took care of the show for it run at WDW so I saw it a lot. All the 3-D disney shows at disney are 30 frames and most projection in all the show is to give it a better image.  |  IP: Logged
