Yes, but if there were 2-D glasses, maybe Mom or Dad (who don't like 3D) could enjoy the movie with the little tykes. The 2-D glasses could be special colored or something so it would be easy to tell the difference.

But, again, they'd still have to pay the upcharge. That would be hard to do when places say they are charging for the "experience". So that would make the theater a bunch of liars if they were upcharging for someone to watch it in 2D. If they didn't charged for the 2D glasses, then a lot of people would just buy the 2D ticket and bring their own 3D glasses.

Bottom line: Not gonna happen.
