Was considering ignoring Bobby due to all of that Pepsi spam, but it stopped and you lucked out!
Same here.....I was "thisclose" to posting a "Would you PLEASE stop flogging this crap?" on his wall, but his efforts seem to have paid off.

It's a major relief the Miracle League won its $50,000 funding grant. It was a chore to vote daily in that contest and twist the arms of others to do the same. The last day of August it was looking pretty iffy on whether the Miracle League would finish in the top 10 or not. I was thinking "please, not another month of this voting shit!" At least the effort was for a good cause.

Any place that gets grants based on Facebook votes is shady.

It's probably just a way for Pepsi's marketing geeks to prove how horrendously influential their marketing is.

I'm sure non-iPhone mobile devices have something like this, right?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes (thankfully).

The stock Android browser can be set to show standard versions of web pages instead of the mobile versions. Press Menu, tap "Settings" (you may have to press "more" to bring up an on screen menu for "settings"), un-check "Mobile View." While there you can do a lot of other house-keeping activities with the web browser. Edit: You need to have the Android web browser running to bring up the browser's settings menu.

The Dolphin web browser for Android also has a non-Mobile view setting. I don't know about some of the other competing Android web browsers such as xScope, SkyFire, Opera Mini, Fennec (Mobile Firefox Beta for Android).

My Droid X does not have these same options. I got to the web browser settings but could not find the option you referred to for non-mobile pages anywhere.

Is your Droid X running Android 2.2? I wonder if that could be the difference.

I'm just glad Pepsi's marketing geeks chose the blow their Super Bowl ad money on this Pepsi Refresh Everything deal rather than spend the money on Super Bowl ads.
