I auto-print all inbound emails anyway. I'm still tied to pen-and-paper.
When doing business, I always ask for everything to be sent to me via e-mail, that way I can print it and have a hard copy for my records as well as my files on my laptop. I've gotten quotes over the phone and just said send it to my e-mail so I have a record of it and can print it for my own records.

i've come to rely on emails so i don't have to rely on memory (mine or theirs) -- putting stuff in emails has helped me avoid "drama" many many times.

Same here -- and ALWAYS have the Automatically Save Sent Mail option checked as well. An email trail can be one powerful CYA tool. Saved mine plenty of times.
