On the picture of the house, who is the lady to the right holding flowers? And why is it that only white people keep sticking around after an episode like that?

I DO want to believe in ghosts, so when I die, I won't go to the light but stick around and haunt a movie theater ... [Wink]

oh im a big time believer in Ghosts. it started off at my aunts house and at 3am I'm getting a late night snack and then i hear a kid laughing but quietly and i can actually hear the foot step in the hallway. so i checked to see what it was and i see the shadow lead to the leaving room and as i walked into the living room i see a shadow figure of a kid and glowing eyes and i thought it was my little cousin and as i was telling him to go back to bed he just laughed so i turned around to flip the light switch and as i looked back at the couch it was nothing. so i ran to my cousins room my cousin was asleep. and my aunt asked me what i was doing and i told her what happen and she told me that the apartment has ghosts and that it happen to her when she moved in.
also in 2002-2009 working at the movie theater and as a projectionist you tend to stay in the booth for the majority of the time. and as i was doing maintenance i heard my name being called out in an area that nobody is allowed to enter unless your a projectionist or manager. so i get up to see who's calling my name i see a silhouette of a tall shadow figure. and as i get closer to turn the lights on and looked around the sound rack the figure disappeared. i thought it was a prank at first from the co-workers and as i called them on the cell phone they all told me that they were at home or asleep. after the years i noticed that it only happen after 9pm every night so i told them what happen and they all laughed and told me that im just going nuts and developed "BOOTH MADNESS" and that it was all in my head. well we had an older lady who been working at this theater for ever 16yrs and she told me that before it became a movie theater it was a stage play theater and that one of the actors hanged him self and nobody knew if it was a murder or suicide but either way it happen in the late 70's. now over the years the clean up people have complained that they seen ghosts and in 2008 a clean up crew quit because the main person was scared to come back to work. i told them that there's a ghost but that all he does is either whisper your name or show up in a shadow figure or just moves things around but never does anything crazy like you see in movies. well in 2007 the place had security cameras installed in every corner and none of the new management believed me until June of 2009 at exactly 12am when everybody is starting to exit the theater and the cameras pick up movement at the downstairs area where the bar is located and a White/gray fuzzy orb rise from the floor and you can see white lines in the orb that resembles legs and arms and also the torso. but it circled the downstairs and you can actually see it climbing over the BAR and searching around the bar area looking at the bottles and then it sinks back down. and then at 1:20am the white orb reappeared from the ceiling and actually followed an employee to the exit door and stopped right as the employee was walked out. not sure if its a funny thing but days after that happen that same employee just died out of nowhere on his way to work. Sad but all true story dude

Jim, the holy one's wisely had his name officially changed for awhile now, not wanting to be tainted with the bad charma associated with the ghost riff-raff, or the possibility of encountering the Ghostbusters. "Ghost" is too closely associated with demon. There are no spirit-busters out there to worry about. And "spirit" has a much classier sound to it...more benign. The very media savvy Big See...you know, the Curious Curia....they knew the importance of what's in a name. On the downside, you don't get a song sung or a movie made about you if you are a spirit. I mean, Who Ya Gonna Call if a spirit is encountered and why would you even need to? Spirits don't haunt anything, although they can muck up one's tongue....babble, babble, babble.

I read this thread and a couple of days later I was on my own closing up one of the Cinemas I work at. The building is 85 years old and has had loads done to it (good and bad) so is a bit noisy in places. A new creak has developed so when you walk up the small staircase to the office it sounds like someone is following you. I'm blaming you guys for really creeping me out!
